BY JAVED ZAHEER, FREE EXPRESSION AWARD WINNER `TORONTO: Pakistan, Islam aur Musalmaan ke naam pe har ghair ikhlaqi, ghair insaani, badtareen, ghinouney aur  ghaleez kaam horahe hain.
Oos waqt ye darinfey Fauj ke corrupt aur ghaddar generals thay. Aaj bhi insan numa darinday aur corrupt aur ghaddar generals ka tola mulk aur awam pe zulm ke pahar tor raha hai. Unke saathi corrupt hukmuraan aur leaderaan hain. Pakistan ka arboun kharboun rupiah loot kar kha gaye hain. Roz arboun kharboun rupiah loota jaraha hay. Ye baat sub jaante hain magar sub ne aankhain aur moo bund kiye huwe hain. Mulk pe behisi aur khauf ka aalam Chaya huwa hai. Shayad koi sher ka bacha kabhi uthjaaye warna tu aisay sher hukumat kar rahain jink e sar pe baal nahi aur izzat chupa ne ke liye dum nahi.

JZ'S ARTICLE: KASHMIR BLEEDS & BURNS, WHILE THE WORLD LEADERS ENJOY THE GAME OF DEATH

KASHMIR BLEEDS & BURNS,
WHILE THE WORLD LEADERS
ENJOY THE GAME OF DEATH
BY JAVED ZAHEER, FREE EXPRESSION AWARD WINNER
TORONTO: The Indian-held Kashmir bleeds and burns, while the cunning, immoral and cruel leaders of the powerful nations watch and enjoy every bit of the beastly and Barbaric game of death and destruction with eyes wide open.
Yes, they are not deaf, dumb or blind but having great fun on seeing the blood of helpless and innocent Muslims and their good and peaceful Hindu, Sikh, Christians and other supporters flow in Occupied Kashmir.
Actually, these powerful leaders, their allies and puppets in other countries, are the ones who hatch sinister conspiracies, destroy system and institutions and spread worst type of corruption.
Kashmir since 1947 is a victim of such conspiracies. Crazy, fanatic and  extremist Hindu leaders like Narender Modi and the hardliners and terrorists in other Hindu organizations have been given free hand to kill and enjoy the thrill.
They enjoy the support of the Indian army, which again is there since 1947. They all have killed, disabled and seriously injured thousands. Thousands of others have been blinded by the pellet shots on the faces.
The powerful, cruel, conscienceless and immoral leaders of the big powers and the world have turned the United Nations and all other important organizations established for peace in the world as useless. Only their vested interests are supported, promoted and protected. Burning issues like Palestine, Kashmir and others are deliberately left for the garbage bins.
The Muslim World, organizations and leaders are mostly puppets and slaves of the big powers and their allies. They have delivered nothing but caused unimaginable massive harm to the Muslim and their causes. They keep fooling the people by giving them lollypops laced with deadly poison. Instead of just verbal service, had they acted sincerely, honestly and practically issues like Palestine and Kashmir would have been solved long ago.
Only the people whether in Kashmir or Palestine, can unite and prepare themselves for committed struggle and sacrifices to achieve their goals and freedom. They
must be supported people of the whole Muslim World. Noting is impossible. Soviet Union was defeated in Afghanistan. This was a battle ground where the worldwide Muslims united and achieved victory.
Because East Timor was a place of of non-Muslim powers, they got it freed and Indonesia could do nothing and just watched helplessly.
So Muslim people and leaders must stop looking towards the enemies for help, support and promotion. Their policies can only harm Muslims.
Not that the Muslim leaders are silent. They are raising voices through different platforms worldwide. Unfortunately they mostly reach deaf ears of the common enemies of Muslims and humanity. This is why the issues are not being paid attention.
One such conference was organized in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, by the Friends of Kashmir. Lord Nazir Ahmed, first Muslim member of the British House of Lords, and Tariq Azeem, High Commissioner of Pakistan in Canada, were the special guests at the Kashmir Solidarity Conference, held on July 15, 2017, at 1380 Stouffville Road,, Ontario, Canada. The organizers included Dr Azrab Khan, Syed Sajjad Hyder, Hafiz Munir,  Zafar Bangash\, Khawaja Rafiq Shad, M. Ayub Qureshi, Eitzaz Khawaja, Ibrar Khan, Zamin Usman and Mukhtar Ali.  The other prominent guests included Shahid Hashmi, Seema Hashmi and Tasneem.
The hall was fully packed with supporters of the Kashmir cause, struggle and people. Instead of fiery speeches, they must now plan strategies of action to help the people in reality.
Modi and his pack of extremists and terrorists are ferocious monsters and beasts. If people fear them then they are going to destroy them. If people stand up  against them then they will panic and flee. There is a choice---fight or become their diet. After Gujarat, his appetite wants more flesh and blood of Muslims.
Both Lord Nazir and Tariq Azeem  properly highlighted the Kashmir issues and the unimaginable crimes and brutalities there by the Indian army and the stooges.

Lord Nazir said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman (who enjoys the bad reputation as Maulana Diesel), who gets two million dollars as Chairman of the Kashmir Committee in Pakistan, has done nothing for the Kashmir cause. Instead he has harmed the Kashmiris and the cause. He should be removed immediately from the chairmanship of the committee.
The figures of death, injuries and destruction were enough to give good people of any community worldwi heart attack. They too could not do anything because most of the own leaders are cunning and corrupt. They want to see only flow of blood and torn fleshes of innocent and helpless people. Despite this we must not lose hope and keep mobilizing people of all communities for the Kashmir, Palestine and other common issues and causes in the world.

150TH ANNIVERSARY OF CANADA: LET’S PLEDGE TO SERVE COUNTRY BETTER

150TH ANNIVERSARY OF CANADA: LET’S
  PLEDGE TO SERVE COUNTRY BETTER
BY JAVED ZAHEER, FREE EXPRESSION AWARD WINNER
TORONTO: On July 1, 2017, Canadians worldwide celebrated the 150th anniversary of Canada, also known as the 150th anniversary of Confederation.
The country has not only made great progress but attracted millions of people from all over the globe to visit and settle here. People are allowed to freely practice their religion.
They are encouraged to protect and promote cultural and social values. Throughout the year we witness the festivals and celebrations. Once people who make Canada their home hardly go back, particularly their children and grandchildren.
The 150th celebration included massive fireworks and celebrations at hundreds of places all over Canada. Speeches were held on the role and tremendous contributions of Canada and Canadians of various communities, origins and countries.
The celebrations always provide us the opportunity to pledge to serve the country and the people in much better ways. The 150 years were full of tremendous struggle.
The newcomers from all over the world, who were mostly recognized professionals, specialists  and highly skilled personnel serving on top positions in their respective countries, and highly educated people, struggled extremely hard to become a part of the Canadian system and society. The government guides and supports them in the best possible ways
However new policies and policy changes are badly needed to allow them to play their important role in the progress and prosperity of Canada. Canada must benefit fully from the rich experiences and excellent expertise.
The government must come forward to sincerely help and support them after listening to their genuine grievances and their desire to serve Canada. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, like his father, is doing a lot for all. This is the time to seriously consider this important issue as well. Justin Trudeau has the ability to do remarkable and memorable things.
NEPMCC: The National Ethnic Press & Media Council of Canada organized the `Canada Day  2017’ 150 Celebrations on July 1, 2017, at the Cypriot Community Centre, 6 Thorncliffe Park Drive, Toronto.
It was a selected gathering of distinguished personalities. Rob Oliphant, MP for Don Valley West, Toronto, represented Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. He spoke on the role and progress of Canada and said that Canada is a leader in human rights, civil rights, economy and socialization and we have to maintain this status.
Rob Oliphant praised the role and tremendous contributions of Thomas S. Saras, CEO and President of NEPMCC, and his daughter Maria. They were presented medals by Rob Oliphant on behalf of the Government of Canada in recognition of their meritorious services. Rob said 100 medals would be distributed to recognize others. It was a well organized event.
The way Thomas S. Saras works is a great source of motivation and inspiration for all. Now his daughter is supporting him in managing the NEPMCC. It is a wonderful father-daughter combination.
Thomas has the wonderful ability and understanding to successfully work with all communities and help and support them genuinely.
LOVE & RESPECT: It was an honour for the Pakistani community when Thomas invited Syed Muhammad Iqbal, President of Pak Seniors Forum, and three others as special guest. This shows the great love and respect he has for the Muslim and Pakistani community.
Syed Muhammad Iqbal keeps an eye on national and international affairs. He remains in contact with investors and important people. When they visit Canada, he connects them with investors.
SHAHID HASHMI: Shahid Hashmi, Chairman, Canpak Chamber of Commerce, and a distinguished personality is in Canada for decades and keeps playing the very important role of building bridges, connecting and introducing people and helping and supporting them. His whole family including wife Seema Hashmi and other family members are his team members and keep supporting him.
Shahid Hashmi, on June 16, 2017, organized a selected gathering.  The special guests were Sohail Rana, legendary music director, Nazimuddin Maqbool, who is doing the extremely important work for promotion of Urdu. Hundreds of children are his students and benefiting from his efforts and contribution.
His latest book based on his travels and articles was also presented and sold to the people. Iqbal, son of the famous and great community leader late Major Abbas, of Muslim Welfare Centre, also spoke on the occasion and highlighted the work being done by the MWC. He collected a lot of donation from the people on the occasion. The credit goes to Shahid Hashmi for the collection.
Shahid Hashmi praised the launching of Eid stamp by the Canada Post and highlighted values based on Quran. Sohail Rana showed to the audience the Sitara-e-Imtiaz award he received from the Government of Pakistan.
Iftar party was also organized on the occasion by Shahid and Seema Hashmi.
There are several leading Pakistanis who are playing important roles and contributing tremendously. There is a need to motivate others to come forward and serve in a much better way. The Pakistani and other Muslim communities strongly believe in promotion of cultural and religious values and socialization, which is evident on festivals like Eids, Ramazan, Eid, Milad-un-Nabi, Muharram and others. Now Pakistanis and Muslims are in politics, parliaments and on important positions. Those in parliaments and important positions must focus on building bridges and seriously helping and solving the issues and problems of the community members. They must keep a good distance from hypocrites and exploiters, who only focus on their vested interests and tarnish the reputation of the community.
