          TORONTO: First of all Eid Mubarak to all my near & dear ones, friends and fans on the occasion of Eidul Azha 2016. One of the four most important pillars of Islam i.e. Haj is performed by millions of Muslims from all over the world.

          Also, millions of animals including camel, cow, goat, sheep and yak are sacrificed according to affordability as there are conditions, rules, principles, duties and responsibilities but absolutely no compulsion in Islam. The duties and responsibilities could best be described in short as follows: Worship God and serve humanity in reality.

          The same applies for Christianity and Judaism as well. It is a matter of understanding only which has been cunningly messed by distortion, confusion and misunderstanding.

        WISE & VICE PEOPLE: In order to become wise and nice, read the books with open eyes and proper understanding so that all including self, family, relatives, friends, community, society, system, country and humanity could benefit by the knowledge, skills  and experiences gained and overall contribution made.

          It is the good, positive and constructive contribution which matter the most otherwise anyone can obtain degree, diploma and certificate to become and be called educated.

          Like my loving, caring, sensible and responsible mother having good nature and character and millions of other such people and parents who despite being less educated or uneducated did or do their best through proper understanding, sensibility, responsibility, sleepless nights and great efforts and hardships to make us highly educated, responsible and a good human being. This is one of the best contributions they made or make along with worship of God. They deserve to be recognized, respected and saluted. They are the best ideals.

Those considering them illiterates and keep insulting them are the most unfortunate ones and worst creatures on earth.  I have seen at various places many parents and seniors crying and complaining. They were humiliated, insulted and thrown out or treated as servants. Their woeful tales can cause heart attacks.        

          In order to become vice just don’t remain nice and become friend of the devil and follow him i.e. become committed enemy of the mankind, keep people away from good and God and hurt, harm and kill them.

        GOOD COMPANY: When I say that I don’t deserve to be called a Muslim, lover, follower and believer of God the basis is: During 24 hours of each day, do I really worship God and serve humanity in reality? It is a very simple self-accountability and analysis to judge your character, words, deeds, actions and contributions.

          This mirror of conscience is always with us to show us our true face. The reality is that we deliberately avoid the mirror of truth and as a result are trapped by the whispers of the devil and cunningness of his followers and friends.

          This is why it is said that a person is known and judged by the company he keeps. This is why it is extremely important to have a good company and friends.

          Since childhood, I saw the good company and friends of my father. They were few but very close and family friends. The families of each other used to meet and greet each other almost every week in the shape of get together, lunch, dinner, picnic and party at home and at various tourist spots.

          Such company and friends protected us from isolation, depression and frustration. We all lived and met like one family. Even today the children and grandchildren of his friends are our friends. This is the beauty of such relationship and company.

           FOOTSTEPS: Following the footsteps of my parents, I too emphasize on having good company and family friends, particularly when living abroad. Why good company and family friends when living abroad are very important? I will tell you my own experiences.

          After the 1965 Indo-Pak war when diplomatic relations broke with Malaysia, my father went to Singapore and served in the Pakistan Trade Commission there.

          My mother could not adjust herself there and started missing her parents and siblings very much. She suffered from homesickness and became hysterical and critically ill. She could not even recognize us and was bed-ridden. We were all very much disturbed and extremely worried.

          Except us, there was none to understand, help and support her in reality as a friend or family member. As her condition worsened, the doctors advised us to send her back to Pakistan.

          She was sent back to Pakistan and within six months there she fully recovered and became normal and healthy. This shows how much important are family, company and friends and how much they matter. Now she is over 85 years but very much active, healthy and happily living in Chicago, US. All the family members, particularly my eldest brother, take great care of her.

          I can never forget that bad experience and the hard time faced. For over nearly two years, I lived in Singapore with my eldest brother and father. There we learnt a lot including how to take care of ourselves alone, cook food and take care of the house and study. This was a good experience for us. I got first position there.

          This lesson helped me greatly when my father passed away in 1973. I suddenly became very strong and immediately took charge of the house, mother and siblings and assured them that together we can manage things and face the challenges.

          Also, I can never forget that crucial moment, the painful testing time and the way my mother looked at me and asked the difficult questioned: “Son, what will happen now and how will we face the crisis and challenges?”  The tragedy shook her badly and stunned her. With tears rolling from her red eyes, she kept weeping silently. Every drop of tear had a message and enough to tear the hearts.

          Realizing the situation and condition, I hugged her tightly and said: “Look at

me, I assure you everything will be fine. God is and good people are with us. Exactly this is what happened. God and good friends helped and supported us to become what we are today. God’s blessings and the moral support and good company were a great source of strength, encouragement and happiness for us.

          Like all others, we too faced problems but never faced depression or disappointment. We depended on God, always remained thankful to Him and lived and progressed happily. Even today we follow the same way---Love, help and support each other and all others, which gives us great happiness and satisfaction and which we consider as one of the greatest blessings of God.

          Canada and people strongly believe in family reunion. In order to make Canada and families better and stronger, Canada must consider this factor seriously to allow sponsorship of siblings. It will help greatly towards progress and prosperity of Canada and communities. This is a food for thought for the rulers, leaders, policymakers and all people.

          This will be in the best interest of Canada and people of all communities. This is why it is important for all of us to join heads and hands and unite on a common platform to live & work together for stronger family reunion and stronger Canada and all Canadians. Positive thinking and practical approach is needed to help, support and serve all people and families to adjust properly and become strong in reality.

          I migrated to Canada in 1999 and fortunately since then greatly enjoying the company of good Canadians and community people and the best facilities, benefits and opportunities provided by Canada. I said fortunately because there are many people who unfortunately various problems and hardships including most importantly family reunion absence of sponsorship of siblings. This sponsorship would greatly help keep families united, strong and happy. Their contribution will help in the progress and prosperity of Canada.

          I visited along with my family and friends many beautiful touristic places in Canada including Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, British Columbia and Alberta provinces.

          Shahid Hashmi of Canpak Chamber of Commerce, his spouse Seema Hashmi & family played an important role in visiting many places in US & Canada and introducing good friends. They deserve credit for promoting good relationship and building bridges.  

          Apart from their other interests, they get satisfaction in doing this---serving the community by united all people, communities and families. Although I disapprove and strongly disagree with him on certain issues and his views but still I cherish the good relationship.

          As founder of SHIR Inter Network, my mission & vision is to Serve Humanity In Reality (SHIR), it is also my job to protect all people, particularly the innocent and helpless ones, from clutches and cunningness of the mafia and the committed enemies of mankind. Whether I succeed or not, it is my duty and responsibility and I will keep doing it. God is always there to support me and my mission.

          My job is also to protect the Muslim community from the nefarious designs of the dangerous lobby operating in two forms Pro-Mullah and Anti-Mullah. The objective of both is the same---Misguide the people by creating confusion, division, distraction and ultimately causing maximum damage and destruction.  People take me wrong that I am against overall Mullahs. I like and respect the good Mullahs. They are an important part of the family and society and my SHIR mission and vision. My war is against the Cut-Mullahs, corrupts and crooks.

        EID SACRIFICE: For the first since 1999, I along with my friends and their families went outside Toronto for sacrificing animals. The company group leader was again Shahid Hashmi and Seema Hashmi.

          Others included Syed Muhammad Iqbal, President of Pak Seniors Forum, Hameeduddin, Muhammad Arshad of ARCO Computers and his wife Rubina Arshad, Tariq Durrani and his wife Huma Tariq, Sarosh Riaz, her daughter Farzeen and her husband Faraz Islam.

          We went in two cars to Dumbriar Farm, located at RR#2 Conn, Ontario, N0G 1N0, almost three-hour drive from Toronto. It was an enjoyable drive with Hameeduddin beautiful narration in pure Hyderabadi style about his experiences of living and driving challenges in Saudi Arabia and visit of his uncle from Karachi, Pakistan, to Hyderabad Deccan, India.

          The story of Mamu Bhanja (Uncle & nephew) was very interesting and worth listening and non-stop laughing. Tariq Durrani sang in his beautiful voice old Hindi hits. Seema Hashmi’s Kabab rolls and tea provided great taste and relief.

           At the Dumbriar Farm, Mr Clair, the owner, who is a close friend of Shahid Hashmi, was waiting anxiously for us as we reached late. He welcomed us all warmly, showed us the lambs, discussed the deal and details and then took us to the Holstock slaughter, about forty-minute drive from his farm.

          At Holstock, since we were late the person who was supposed to slaughter left after his time was up. Luckily, Tariq Durrani stepped forward and agreed to do the job. Within fifteen minutes, he slaughtered by hand in Halal way all twelve lambs. So sophisticated and quick was the process. Out of the twelve lams, eight belong to Hameeduddin and his two sisters. The rest others included Tariq Durrani and Muhammad Arshad.

          PICNIC: It was a very good picnic & sacrifice experience there. On the way back home, we stopped at Angels Diner, family restaurant, located 33 Broadway Avenue in Orangeville, Ontario. There we enjoyed very delicious fish & chips, tea, coffee, ice cream, apple pie and cake.

          The trip and adventure from morning till midnight was wonderful, exciting and memorable. The credit goes to Shahid Hashmi, who jokingly says that he is not interested in credit but cash.

          Although I was sick and in great pain that day but the good trip, company and friends made me feel fully well and healthy. This is the magic and outcome of good relationship and togetherness. Let’s respect, like and love each other and live and work together.

          The Canadian rulers, policymakers and all leaders must realize the importance and think seriously in the best interest of all families, communities, people and Canada. Policy changes could be and should be made according to the needs of the time. Failure to understand would only harm Canada and Canadians.

GOD OR PEOPLE: WHO IS REALLY

     CONFUSED & MISGUIDED?

TORONTO: My dear respected Muslim, Christian and Jew friends and fans, you must have read hundreds of books written by great writers and genius people. Now I invite you to read a masterpiece book with a totally different perception.

I keep reading and trying to understand and benefit from it and I am sure that all those who read and understand it sensibly would benefit tremendously.  They will witness great changes in their lives---love and respect for all with the spirit to practically help and support all during all times and particularly sadness and happiness. Only those who are benefitting could tell us about the extremely good taste they are enjoying.

They become angels on the earth. I am an ordinary person and only wish and dream to become like that and them. With the lifestyle that I have, I don’t deserve even to be called a Muslim as I am not properly obeying and worshipping God. From dawn to dusk, I fail to meet His expectations. It will be His greatness if He forgives me otherwise I don’t deserve. My conscience keeps making me realize this and I keep trying to reform myself.

While most of us are mentally sick (Commonly schizophrenic) and extremely emotional and unable to listen, bear and tolerate each other and consider themselves as the best and right, this masterpiece book with words of gems helps us become a normal human being with two essential and magical qualities: To remain on the right and straight path and to demonstrate great patience and tolerance at all times. The holy month of Ramazan provides us the best opportunity to learn, know, understand, adopt and practice these qualities. This is why fasting has been made compulsory. It has tremendous benefits. It acts as a reminder that we have to live like this in order to make the world really safe, wonderful and heaven.

With these two great qualities an ordinary human being becomes powerful enough to truly help, support and lead himself, his family, all people, communities and the world. Right from Prophet Adam to Prophets Muhammad, Jesus, Moses, David, Noah and thousands of others have proved this.

This is why we must know and learn from their lives, teachings and contributions. They are best examples for us and that is why Quran has mentioned about them, their people, their times and the outcome in the shape of blessings and wrath. Those who challenged God and harmed people faced the wrath and perished and those who enjoyed the blessings are growing and prospering.

Those who are conspiring and compelling others to change their religion are displeasing God because there is no compulsion in Islam and I dare say in Christianity or Judaism as well. Those who are doing this are on the wrong path. They are exploiting the people and which all the good religions, teachings, leaders and people condemn and reject outright.  

Through this marvelous masterpiece book the ordinary and even illiterate person learns to kill his ego and all whims because of which people were being insulted, humiliated, hurt and harmed. Not the illiterates but mostly the literate illiterates cause the most harm and prove the most dangerous. The power, wealth and status make them crazy, cunning, crook, corrupt and cruel. They start posing as god to take charge of lives of others, particularly the innocent and helpless ones. This is why God orders us to help and protect them. This is our most important duty and responsibility.

That marvelous masterpiece book is the latest, undistorted and final version of all holy books and divine messages including Bible, Torah and Scrolls of God to know and understand the reality of true worship and humanity service and as to who is really confused and misguided: God or people?

The most important message and knowledge I got from the book is that the worship of God (Allah) has only two forms: truly accept and obey God and serve humanity in reality. Without this one cannot become a good human being and a true believer. Being Christian, Muslim and Jew are only identities. The true identity is to become a good human being, which helps you to become a true believer, lover and friend of God.

This marvelous latest version of all holy books and divine messages has been named Quran not by any human being or other beings but by God Himself. In short it is a road map to God and good. Not only God has named this book as Quran but has openly challenged all to prepare and present, if they can, even a surah or a verse.

Till to-date many had attempted but none succeeded. Even all distortion attempts miserably failed. This alone proves the invincibility and authority of God and that God is the only author and protector of this book. This only is enough to prove that not God but over ninety percent of the people are badly confused, misguided, on the wrong path, knocking the wrong doors and following the cunning, corrupt and fake religious leaders and people disguised as Mullahs, Muftis, Christian priests, Rabbis, monks, Hindu Sadhus, scholars and leaders.       They are all crooks and corrupt people and not good religious leaders or people. In reality they are human beasts and the committed enemies of mankind. Their only aim and objective is to keep confusing, misguiding and harming people by all means. Since they misguide, exploit, cheat, hurt, harm and kill people, they must be not only exposed but punished.

We have to understand the real difference between the good human beings and the crooked, cunning and cruel human beasts. Only then we can recognize them and save ourselves.

In order to help, support, promote, protect and unite the people, I have been struggling since the last over 55 (fifty five) years to serve humanity in reality. When the time came to give it a proper good name, I got spiritual guidance from God and founded SHIR International Network (SHIRIN). This is the divine message of God, all holy books and religions and our duty and responsibility. I thank God for the guidance, support and this great blessing.   

Through my pen power, I keep trying my best possible to remain voice and strength of the people and serve humanity in reality which is my cause, mission and vision. SHIRIN is a powerful and effective platform for the people. Like I said above, the aims and objectives of SHIRIN is to Serve Humanity In Reality (SHIR). The aims and objectives could only be achieved if we remain united, normal, sensible, practical, committed and determined. All the team members must respect each other and on the same page for the common cause.

Only one can become a really good human being and true believer and worshipper of God by reading and understanding Quran with an open mind and full attention and honesty.   

This latest and final version of all books and scrolls---Quran---is full of wisdom and guidance and shows us the right and straight path and tells us as to how to remain firm and steadfast on this path to success and salvation, which definitely is not easy at all but extremely difficult and full of toughest challenges and dangers.

At the same time, God tells us in this final version our duties and responsibilities.

In order to achieve the aims and objectives of SHIRIN, I have started contacting leaders and people of all communities, parties and groups because without likeminded supporters, sponsors, donors and helping hands it will be very difficult to achieve the goals of my mission and vision. Funds from supporters, donors and sponsors would help implement the ideas, plans and strategies and attract and invite helping hands and unite them and all people, particularly the deserving, helpless and innocent ones to live and work together and serve humanity in reality without any fear. This is a completely humanitarian cause, mission and vision.

I fully understand that it is an extremely difficult task with tough challenges but I have accepted the challenge with the firm belief that God support is always with me. I was never alone and I will never be alone till my last breath.

God does punish me when I falter and do wrong but never ditches and leaves me alone. Depression, disappointment and frustration are all part of the struggle and a test.

I also understand that people might come to help me as friends and supporters but in reality they will emerge as hidden enemies to create confusion, division and disappointment to sabotage my mission. Such people as friends are very dangerous. This is why it is essential to have proper monitoring and managements and sincere friends and supporters as guards.     As a part of my humanity service campaign, I met my good Christian friend Mike Morris, a senior missionary, and his wife. The couple and their children lived in Sindh, Pakistan, for eighteen years. They invited me to lunch and to meet their missionary friend Samson Javed.  They cooked halal food for me including delicious kababs, chicken and a vegetable dish.

After three hours long but very interesting, meaningful and fruitful discussion about religions, God, Bible, Quran and other holy books, I put this important question before Mike Morris and his wife. Their answer was that God is holy and is definitely not confused but we surely are.

I then told them that if we are confused and misguided then why don’t we first remove the CONFUSION and hatred cunningly created against each other and in order to better understand, respect and follow the same God, His divine messages and commands and the path and ways mentioned in the holy books to serve humanity in reality.

When all three of us accepted the reality then I as founder of SHIR International Network invited them to join hands to practically think and work together for the common cause which is my mission and vision: Serve Humanity In Reality (SHIR).

Samson Javed, a Canadian of Pakistani origin, too was very nice and we became friends. He too was part of the discussion and agreed with my views and explanations. He left fifteen minutes earlier but assured me of his support.

Samson Javed said that Christians are suffering and being discriminated and mercilessly killed in Pakistan. He cited many cases of massive corruption and injustices.

I listened patiently and replied: “All people spreading hatred and indulging in violence for their vested interests whether they are Muslims or of any religion and community are actually human beasts and using the identity of Muslim and Islam as shields. All arsonists and killers are cunning, crooks, criminals and terrorists and have nothing to do with humanity and any religion. Law and courts are there to decide fate of the people being accused of any crime. The unfortunate ones in thousands become the victim of corruption in the justice system and are found rotting in jails for up to 40 or years or more. They are unable to pay the Diyat or required amount or get support to get freedom from jails. They need and must be helped to get freedom. Islam ensures equality and justice to all.   

“Also, all the discriminatory laws that are giving the lunatics, fanatics, extremists, terrorists and corrupt people the opportunity to abuse, harm and kill innocent people must be reviewed, revoked and replaced with good and proper laws which ensure the safety and protection of all.

This is because Islam is deadly against hate, discrimination, exploitation, cruelty, corruption, violence and terrorism. Islam stands for love, respect, equality, justice, peace and humanity service in reality. Through conspiracy and confusion people are being misguided that it promotes violence, hate, discrimination and terrorism.

Don’t forget that it was Islam which helped the US and Allies win the war and occupation of Afghanistan. Instead of remaining thankful to Islam and Muslims for helping the world, they became human beasts and started defaming Islam and killing and crushing Muslims. In the name of Taliban they created terrorists and then let them loose on the world after their mission was accomplished.   

During the discussion with Mike Morris and others, I quoted the following relevant Surahs (chapters) to make my points clear and explanations logical, meaningful: Surah Al-Fatiha (Chapter # 1), Surah Al-Ikhlas (Chapter # 112), Surah Al-Asr (Chapter # 103), Surah An-Nasr (Chapter # 110) and Surah Al-Kafiroon (Chapter # 109).

          These Surah (Chapters) are all deeply connected and defines and explains about worship and service to humanity in reality. The message, particularly in Surah Al-Asr is very clear i.e. remain on the right and straight path and demonstrate patience and tolerance. What else one needs to know about worshippers, believers and humanity principles.

 Instead of debating, arguing and fighting with me, they listened to me with full attention, great patience and understa0nding. They agreed with and accepted most of my views. I really enjoyed very much the discussion and benefited greatly and which resulted in preparation of this article. I can never forget the hospitality of the wonderful couple.

CAPO: At a meeting held recently by Canadians of Pakistani Origin (CAPO), Rob Oliphant, MP, asked CAPO to do more to really help, support and serve the people of the locality.

I praised Rob Oliphant for the pricking remarks and informed him that I have been constantly writing and pointing strongly about CAPO that it is not serving the community properly and only few families are being promoted and others ignored. TNO sponsors must know that the funds meant for the people are going into the drain. Deserving people are angry, disturbed and now complaining and questioning about use and misuse of the funds meant for the people.

Both the MP Rob Oliphant and Ahmed Hussein, Executive Director of Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office (TNO), must take a serious note of this. Canada has a good system and nobody should be allowed to corrupt it. Those doing so must be exposed and punished.

The policymakers must make sure that all those involved in corruption, cheating or fraud of any kind whether prime minister, MPs or community leader must not only be exposed but punished. Presently people were cheated, the culprits were exposed, had to resign but were not punished. Who is going to help the people get their money back?

 My job is to just brining the issues and problems and it is the job of the authorities concerned to take up this issue and take action accordingly.

When the Canadian media takes up such issues or any issue then it must ensure that the culprits are not only exposed but punished as well and that people should get justice and their money back. If they can’t then they should quit the job and go home because they don’t deserve this challenging and sacred job.

As Founder of SHIR International Network it is my duty and responsibility to keep serving the people by all means and by becoming their voice and strength. My aim, objective, cause, mission and vision will always remain the same: Serve Humanity In Reality. Either people it and get united or keep facing my pricks, stings and music.

          TORONTO: As son of the soil and as a responsible and respectable citizen of Canada, as founder of SHIR International Network, as Chairman of SHIR International News Network and as representative, strength and voice of all people, assemblies, council and bodies, particularly the helpless, needy and deserving ones, I in the strongest possible words denounce, condemn and criticize all anti-people and anti-state activities, statements, comments and remarks against Pakistan and Canada and humanity.

          This is because both are my mothers and to serve humanity in reality is my cause, mission and vision. It is my duty and responsibility to practically unite, support, promote and protect all people and communities all over the world in order to serve humanity in reality at all times, by all means and in the best possible ways. Indeed it is the duty and responsibility of all like-minded people and leaders at all levels. We need positive and constructive practical contributions to help the people and serve humanity.   We also need to prepare the people and to help them protect themselves from people and leaders with vested interests and evil designs.

          Poor Pakistan and Pakistanis are now used to such inflammatory anti-Pakistan statements like made by founder of MQM Altaf Hussain. Zardari and his stooges also allegedly made hate statements including: “Pakistan Na Khappay (Pakistan not wanted).” Instead of being termed and declared a traitor he was made President of Pakistan. May be Altaf Hussain will also be chosen for this post or as prime minister. May be a team of senior generals will go on a C-130 plane to bring him back for the big positions or as civilian chief martial law administrator like they brought late prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto from Paris. He was used, abused and later hanged.

          Pakistanis are used to it. God did not make them helpless. It is they themselves instead of challenging and getting rid of the mafia chose to become helpless and slaves and are now suffering. They themselves are responsible for all that this happening to them. There is still and always time to wake up and stand up to face the challenges.

          The hate policies, attitude and approach against any people must end. The rights of all people must be respected and protected. This is not being done. The cruel quota system is an example of discrimination and hate against the Urdu speaking people. Because of this they including me have suffered a lot.   

          There were and there are so many enemies of Pakistan who instead of being punished are supported and promoted. They are causing maximum damage to Pakistan and the people and the general are saluting the crooks, criminals, enemies and traitors and obeying their orders. The plea is to allow and protect the democratic system. The country is burning and turning into hell and they are acting as spectators.

          The army comes to the help of the people and country during natural disasters or to help restore law and order. Under the present situation and circumstances, they must intervene for a brief period to help free the people from the mafia ruining the country and to help bring forward true leadership so that the people could live in peace and to ensure stability and progress.

          Unfortunately, the past experiences of military intervention were not good at all. They failed to wipe out the corrupt ones and instead included them in the band. This is because most of them were related to each other or were serving in different parties. They promoted and protected each other. Musharraf too made this and many other mistakes including the NRO and paid a heavy price. The beasts tasted his blood but could not devour him.

          We need a good and true leader, whether civilian or general, to lead and serve the people and country. Presently there is no balance. The army officers and soldiers enjoy the best facilities and they deserve it but what about the civilians. Don’t they deserve anything? Why are they facing deprivation and allowed to suffer painfully. Why can’t they too get the best facilities and protection?   The Pakistan army is one of the best in the world but still people are suffering badly in Pakistan. What does this mean?

          HUMANITY VALUES: One can tackle, tame, teach, train and make animals, birds and insects understand properly and perfectly with less difficulty but making the human beings, particularly the genius, highly educated,  professionals, intellectuals and leaders, understand is one of the most difficult, challenging and toughest tasks in the world. This is not a joke but an undeniable fact and reality.

          God had to send thousands of prophets, messengers, saints, pious and good people and leaders but only very few human beings listened to them seriously and with an open mind, understood sensibly and accepted fully the divine messages, became true believers of God and followed Him, His divine messages and messengers truly. They dedicated, devoted and sacrificed their lives and everything for God and humanity. For God it is understood because it is worship but why humanity?

          Most of our geniuses, intellectuals and leaders portray, propagate and present humanity and religious definitions and values as two entirely different things whereas the fact is that they are both the same.

          This  wrong and senseless approach of such people provide best opportunities to the cruel and cunning human beings, non-believers and committed enemies of mankind and those with vested interests to distort the divine messages and truth to confuse, mislead and harm humanity. Most of the human beings easily become their prey and are harmed.      

          The aim and objective of interfaith bodies is to promote love and peace. Issues are discussed and debated. Muslims have a very simple answer and solution for this. It is Surah # 112 of the holy Quran, which ends the arguments because God Himself is answering. So Muslims must take great care in engaging themselves in arguments and unnecessary explanations.

          Because humanity and Islamic values are same therefore all the believers of one God and followers of His divine messages must unite on a common platform and follow His commands and orders. Their values are same and must remain same. Being believers of the same God they become like minded. The problem is that they are confused and which keeps them from becoming united. For understanding humanity values one must study the religious values then only one can understand the difference and shun the bad ones planted by the enemies of mankind.  Only through proper understanding of the good values we can serve humanity in reality. There is no if and but about this.

            TORONTO: Pakistanis worldwide of all ages, whether they are citizens, immigrants or refugees, demonstrate and express their deep love for the country by taking part in celebrations and greeting each other.

            On August 16, 2016, I went to the Sunnybrook Medical Sciences Center in Toronto, Canada, for dialysis. I went to the volunteers room where one of the volunteers was Shahab,  a grade 12 student of Pakistani origin.  

            We introduced and greeted each other and after that the first thing he did was ask: “Uncle how and where did you celebrate Pakistan Independence Day?” I saw the glow on his face and his great love for his motherland Pakistan.

            I then asked him do you like Canada and celebrate Canada Day. He said: “Oh yes, I like and love Canada and celebrate Canada Day and all other occasions in best possible ways. The Canadian people, charter of rights and values are simply great and one of the best in the world.”

            He said: I wish Pakistan would have been like that and we would not have been compelled to leave the country. It is being systematically destroyed. My country is one of the best in the world but the system is one of the worst.

            He said: “Uncle, you are a journalist. Tell me is there not a single patriotic and daring leader who can face the mafia and wipe them out without showing any mercy.

            With tears flowing from his eyes, he stated: “I am hardly twenty but all my life I have seen Kanjars and Kaminays (criminals, cruel and corrupt people and leaders) from Karachi to Kashmir running, ruling, ruining and destroying the country. They have made the lives of people miserable and hell.”

            He said: Uncle you are a Free Expression Award Winner and a highly respected and recognized professional journalist so please do keep writing fiercely, boldly and daringly so that someone may hear the voice of the conscience and step forward to send the corrupt ones, criminals and terrorists to hell even if they number is in hundreds, thousands and millions. This is the only option and solution for freeing Pakistan from the grip of all mafias and corrupt ones.”

            With his face turning red with anger, he said: “The corrupt ones have spread to all parts of the world including Canada. Here too these cheats, frauds, pimps, touts and criminals are playing with the community, society and system. By all means and ways including holding of musical concerts, social, cultural and religious gatherings they fool and cheat the innocent community members, This way they are tarnishing the image of the community, Pakistan and Canada.”

            He said: “Most of the Pakistanis right from children to elders like and love Canada, people and the good values, society and system. They are badly hurt when cheated by the criminals, cheaters, looters and corrupt ones. Only the deep love of the country and the famous stars, singers and leaders pull them to the places.”  

            He stated: “The cunning cheaters know this and that the community is starved because of lack of good people, organizers and events and take full advantage. The lucrative business of building Masjid, Madarsa and Islamic school and centres is flouring. The owners have no interest in these projects except to make millions by fooling and cheating the people.”

            On August 14, 2016, I along with my friends when to Milton to join the Pakistan Independence Day gathering and to attend the musical concert where Ali Zafar, the singing sensation and actor of Pakistan and Bollywood India was expected to perform. My friends were Anwer Shaikh, a school teacher, and 85 years old Muhammad Shafi who is a visitor from Pakistan. We reached there at 4 pm. There many people holding flags and shouting Pakistan Zindabad and Azadi Mubarak. There were some food stalls. Most of them coming were waiting for the concert as well.

            At the ticket counter, people were seen arguing with the ladies selling tickets. My friend Anwer too had heated argument with them. His argument was right the tickets which were being sold for $20 where then sold for $50. There was no mention of the amount on the tickets. The organizers misbehaved with people. When I noticed the cheating and pointed out, the ladies selling the tickets said: “Do whatever you like. We damn care.”

              There was a VIP culture to please and pamper the distinguished personalities including Salma Zahid, MP, Mazhar Shafiq, renowned Liberal activist and community leader, Pakistan Consulate in Toronto officials including the Consul General.

            I pointed and protested to Mazhar Shafiq: “What the hell is happening. This is Canada. For God sake don’t harm the community, system, society and highly respected values of Canada by promoting cheaps and cheats. You are a respected and responsible Canadian and this is Canada.” He hardly paid attention and moved forward with his team to the VIP gate which opened early for them.

            When we try to reach and meet such leaders, they say: “We are very busy” but they are most found at social and cultural meetings and events. The people keep waiting for them to do something for the people. The reality is that after elections they disappear and surface again at the time of elections. Mazhar is my good friend and a nice person that’s why I brought this to his notice. He has a responsibility to serve, support and protect the community. He must realize this and remain close and connected to the people.

The Consul General and Pakistan Consulate people must take this very seriously and avoid people and events which are being organized by cheats, frauds, looters and irresponsible people of the community.

            The musical concert was a total mess and the people were seen cursing and booing. One elder said: “I cannot stand this Kanjarkhana (Gathering of immoral) any more”. He left the show at 9.30 pm with his family.            The gates were supposed to open at 6 pm but they were opened after 7.30. Till about 9 pm people kept waiting but there was no performance.  After that few local ones perform calm down the charged and angry audience. Sensing that it was a mess we too decided to leave the show. Our 4150 went in drain and garbage.

            Through my think-tank---SHIR International Network (SHIRIN), which stands for Serve Humanity In reality”, all the team leaders including Shahid Hashmi, Chairman, Canpak Chamber of Commerce, Syed Muhammad Iqbal, President of Pak Seniors Forum (PSF), Mohsin Imam, Deputy Attorney General and attorney of Supreme Court of Pakistan, who handled the famous Daniel Pearl case, Afzal Khan, educationist and community leader,  Salahuddin, famous Ghazal singer, Khalid Ahmed, community leader, who is son of Hameeduddin, a renowned personality of Indian and Hyderabadi communities, and many others try their best in big and small ways to keep serving, supporting, promoting and protecting people in the best interests of humanity. It is the spirit and efforts that count most and considered most essential to achieve the objectives of SHIRIN’s vision and mission. As a reminder, SHIRIN’s objectives are:

1)      Serve humanity in reality.

2)      Unite humanity in reality.

3)      Support humanity in reality.

4)      Promote humanity in reality.

5)      Protect humanity in reality.

            Throughout my whole life I have been trying to achieve my objectives although the task is very difficult and challenging. With the blessings of God (Allah) and the spirit and determination, I have been facing the tough challenges with high head and successes. God has never let me down. Friends too are sincere, honest, responsible and respectable people and personalities.       

Vice Admiral (Retd) Ahmad Tasnim, who is a national and international hero as India’s  INS Khukri was sunk under his command during the 1971 war with India, contacted me in 2015 from Islamabad, Pakistan, and while on a visit in Toronto\but we could not meet. He again contacted me both from Islamabad and when he came to in 2016. Recently he and his spouse had dinner with my family at my daughter Sana and son-in-law Irshad Haroon’s residence. we had a very good gathering, meeting and discussion. He impressed us all and invited us to visit Islamabad and stay with him at his residence.

I have always seen Shahid Hashmi, Seema Hashmi and family helping, supporting and serving the community and all communities. They promote the good values of Canada.We must always remember that both Canada and Canadians are great and one of the best. People must feel proud being a Canadian and try to understand, accept and implement Canadian values which are closest to Islamic values. The Consul General of Pakistan and the Pakistan Consulate should take a serious notice instead of attending such events and joining hands with such people.  

I still remember and always quote the beautiful remarks of a famous Muslim cleric during his sermon at the Eid gathering in Darus Salam Mosque in Thorncliffe Park locality in Toronto. He said: “ Canadians and their values are so good and nearest to Islamic values that they only need to recite the Kalima. They have the great potential to become best Muslims. They will emerge far much better Muslims than us.”

From my platform and think-tank SHIR International Network (SHIRIN) I appeal to all people to support and promote the mission and vision and help and humanity in the best possible ways. No doubt there are tough challenges and great difficulties but when we join hands and get united and come on the same page then we can face them.

We have to remember that it is a never ending struggle so we need to prepare all coming generations for this cause, mission and vision. May God help us all and always keep showering His blessings. When we talk about then we mean all communities and people. We must celebrate both Canada and Pakistan’s Independence Days in the best possible ways. This is how we promote love and respect and join together to serve and promote humanity and fight terrorism and all evil forces and corrupt people.
