SUPPORT BEST LEADERS TO BUILD GOOD SOCIETY, PROTECT SYSTEM

SUPPORT BEST LEADERS TO BUILD GOOD SOCIETY, PROTECT SYSTEM
BY JAVED ZAHEER, FREE EXPRESSION AWARD WINNER
TORONTO:  Crimes and sins are part of all societies and they will remain so forever. This is why we keep hearing shocking stories of grave sins and heinous crimes. We can only fight and control these curses and abuses through promotion of good, best & true people, values and habits and, undoubtedly, all of which are extremely important parts of good societies.
Human nature, character, good and bad societies play an important role in producing two groups of people---People of Faith and People of Sin. The Almighty God says that they cannot be treated as same (Sura 68 - Al-Qalam (MAKKA): Verse 35 of Holy Quran).
The People of Faith because of their good nature, character, habits and actions are The Best among human beings. They are not mad or possessed. They are the ones who help all in building a good family, society, community, system and country. This they do by promoting, supporting and protecting goodness including values, habits and people. This is their greatness. They don’t demand but deserve reward and are best rewarded by The Almighty God.
The People of Sin because of their bad nature, character, habits and actions are The Worst among human beings. This is why they are called Beasts and I term them as Human Beasts. They are Cold-Blooded, Cunning, Cruel, Criminal and Terrorist. They indulge in and enjoy cruelty, death and destruction.  They become dangerous and deadliest when they become more powerful, wealthier and influential. This is what the holy books and histories tell us.
“Verily it is thy Lord that knoweth best, which (among men) hath strayed from His Path: and He knoweth best those who receive (True) Guidance. (7) So hearken not to those who deny (the Truth). (8) Their desire is that thou shouldst be pliant; so would thy be pliant. (9) need not the type of despicable man― ready with oaths. (10) A slanderer, going about with calumnies. (11) (Habitually) hindering (all) good, transgressing beyond bounds deep in sin. (12) Violent (and cruel), with all that, base-born― (13) Because he possesses wealth and (numerous) sons. (14) When to him are rehearsed Our Signs "Tales of the Ancients" he cries. (15) Soon shall We brand (the beast) on the snout! (16)--- Sura 68 - Al-Qalam (MAKKA): Verses 7-16 of Holy Quran.
Imran Ali, a senior diplomat in the Consulate General of Pakistan, Toronto, Canada, invited my attention to a crime story on Facebook about gruesome murder of a Canadian girl. I am honoured and glad that he asked for my analysis and provided me the opportunity to write this article. The column was written by Rubina Faisal in Urdu newspaper `Nawai Waqt’.
The Canadian girl, Jassi Kaur Sadhu, was born in Mapleridge, BC, in 1975. Her parents migrated from Punjab (India) to British Columbia (Canada) in 1970.  Soon they became rich.
In 1995, Jassi went to India with her mother. There she met a handsome man, a rickshaw driver, and fell in love with him.  They got married and she secretly sponsored him. The parents came to know and locked her in the house but she managed to escape and went to India.
In 2000, the couple was going on a bike in India when they were attacked by some people and mercilessly beaten. The boy was thrown in the field but managed to survive. Jassi, however, was mercilessly tortured and murdered on orders from allegedly people in Canada, who remained in constant contact with the attackers on phone.
Due to great efforts by a Canadian journalists, who went to India and who also wrote a book `Justice for Jassi’, Jassi’s husband was freed from jail and  some culprits were arrested and punished in India. In 2012, Jassi’s mother and  uncle were arrested by the Canadian police.
Now the ball is in Canada’s court. The case is under investigation. The very good reputation and credibility of Canada is on stake. All eyes are set on the Canadian police, law and verdict. The delay is causing uneasiness because justice delayed is justice denied but people are hopeful that justice would be done because it involves brutal murder of a Canadian citizen. There should be no discrimination in deciding the case because all citizens are equal and enjoy the same status, respect, rights and freedom. This is the fabric and beauty of Canada.
The People of Sin, who acted as beast and indulged in such brutal and merciless killing, deserve exemplary punishment. If they are freed or not given the deserved exemplary punishment then it will be a great blow to the society, system, credibility and reputation of Canada. Canadians will start losing trust and confidence in rulers, leaders, and lawmakers.
We need to protect the people from People of Sin. This can be done only if we promote, support and elect People of Faith (Best People among the Good Human Beings) as rulers and leaders. This is essential for a good society and system and prosperity and stability of the people.
Unfortunately, these days most of the leaders and parties are proving  harmful for the people and country. In order to promote and protect their vested interests, they indulge in dirty politics, false promises and hollow commitments. The innocent people blindly trust and follow them and are cunningly cheated. Most people know this but show helplessness.
Helplessness is not an excuse but a serious crime. People must come out, speak and struggle against all those busy in exploiting, cheating and harming the people. This is our national duty and responsibility.  Only under the leadership of best people, who understand the importance of trust, confidence, values and character and are fully capable of serving sincerely and honestly, we can do this. The criminals and sinners must be exposed and punished in order to protect the people, society and system. They must always be monitored and discouraged. .
The People of Faith or the Good, Best & True People are the only ones who can show us the right direction and destination.  This is because they always emerge as victors and winners and enjoy blessings and protection of The Almighty God. This is what The Almighty God says:
Sura 23 - Al-Mumenoon : Verse 1:”Successful indeed are the believers”.
Sura 27 - Al-Naml: Verse 2: “A guidance and good tidings for believers”.
Sura 37 - As-Saaffat: Verse 162: “Cannot lead astray [turn away from Him (Allâh) anyone of the believers”,
Sura 51 - Adh-Dhariyat: Verse 55: “And warn, for warning profiteth believers”.
Sura 4 - An-Nisa: Verse 92: “Never should a Believer kill a Believer; but (if it so happens) by mistake, (compensation is due): if one (so) kills a Believer it is ordained that he should free a believing slave, And pay compensation to the deceased's family, unless they remit it freely. If the deceased belonged to a people at war with you, and he was a Believer, the freeing of a believing slave (is enough). If he belonged to a people with whom ye have a treaty of mutual alliance, compensation should be paid to his family, and a believing slave be freed. For those who find this beyond their means (is prescribed) a fast for two months, running: by way of repentance to Allah: for Allah hath all knowledge and all wisdom”.
Sura 20 - Ta-Ha: Verse 79: “And Fir'aun (Pharaoh) led his people astray, and he did not guide them”.
All these prove how important the role of leadership is.  A bad leadership will only lead the people astray, not guide them and prove harmful. This applies to all those who are using dirty politics to exploit, cheat and harm the people. They are elected by the people but promote only vested  interests of the parties. With such bad leadership anywhere, how can we expect to build a good society and system? Naturally, the people and the country will keep suffering badly.
The only solution is good, best & true leadership. Under any situation, condition and circumstance, this must always remain our aim, objective and commitment. Let’s understand the facts and realities and help the good, best and true ones to promote, support, protect and serve the people and country in any part of the universe. The human beasts in the society must be monitored, controlled and caged at any cost. This is how we can make the world a better place.
My country of origin is Pakistan and unfortunately the People of Sin or the Human Beasts have made the lives of innocent people miserable there. They have corrupted and destroyed the society, system, institutions and people. We are heading towards destruction and only The Almighty God can protect us.  The question is why will The Almighty God help us? Instead of saving themselves and Pakistan, people are allowing themselves to be brutally raped  and mercilessly ripped by the beasts.  If they keep allowing this then they deserve this.  If they want to survive then they will have to stand up and struggle against all wrongs, bad, crimes and sins. This is the only choice and solution.

JUST STAY---A TOUCHING STORY

JUST STAY---A TOUCHING STORY

A nurse took the tired, anxious serviceman to the bedside.
"Your son is here," she said to the old man.
She had to repeat the words several times before the patient's eyes opened.
Heavily sedated because of the pain of his heart attack, he dimly saw the young uniformed Marine standing outside the oxygen tent. He reached out his hand. The Marine wrapped his toughened fingers around the old man's limp ones, squeezing a message of love and encouragement.
The nurse brought a chair so that the Marine could sit beside the bed.All through the night the young Marine sat there in the poorly lightedward, holding the old man's hand and offering him words of love and strength. Occasionally, the nurse suggested that the Marine move away and rest awhile.
He refused. Whenever the nurse came into the ward, the Marine was oblivious of her and of the night noises of the hospital - the clanking of the oxygen tank, the laughter of the night staff members exchanging greetings, the cries and moans of the other patients.
Now and then she heard him say a few gentle words. The dying man said nothing, only held tightly to his son all through the night.
Along towards dawn, the old man died. The Marine released the now lifeless hand he had been holding and went to tell the nurse. While she did what she had to do, he waited.
Finally, she returned. She started to offer words of sympathy, but the Marine interrupted her.
"Who was that man?" he asked.
The nurse was startled, "He was your father," she answered.
"No, he wasn't," the Marine replied. "I never saw him before in my life."
"Then why didn't you say something when I took you to him?"
"I knew right away there had been a mistake,
but I also knew he needed his son, and his
son just wasn't here.
When I realized that he was too sick to tell whether or not I was his son, knowing how much he needed me, I stayed."
I came here tonight to find a Mr. William Grey.
His son was Killed in Iraq today, and I was sent to inform him. What was this Gentleman's Name?
The Nurse with Tears in Her Eyes Answered,
Mr. William Grey.............
The next time someone needs you ... just be there. Stay.
