WHY WASTE THE PRECIOUS VOTES ON

HELPLESS & POWERLESS LEADERS?

TORONTO: When the elected leaders including those belonging to the ruling class and their team are found “Helpless and Powerless”, where should the people go and whom they should approach for proper guidance, help, support and justice?

People give their precious votes, time, energy, help and support to elect leaders with great hopes and expectations but find most of them as helpless, powerless, poodles and ROBOTS of the powerful parties or groups. When they and their staff are approached both mostly say: “We are helpless and powerless.” The question then arises as to why we keep wasting our PRECIOUS VOTES, TIME & ENERGY on such useless leaders and keep ELECTING them again, again and again?

Such leaders are fully exposed and most people know very well the reality but still they keep running after these leaders and their parties which is a proof that it is the people who are either brain dead, blind or stupid? Yes, there is definitely something wrong with them and they are to be blamed for the sufferings, the messy situation and condition.

By wasting their precious votes, time & energy on such leaders and parties and electing them and only getting LOLLYPOPS and NEVER ENDING WAITS and getting the answer “WE ARE HELPLESS AND POWERLESS” in return, they are NOT doing any good to both the people and Canada. In fact they are seriously endangering both, putting them in messy, miserable and terrible situations and pushing them towards darkness and destruction.

Aaah! Unfortunately, people will keep doing this again and again despite full awareness and understanding of the facts and realities. It looks like they have become addicted and used to such cunning and brutal uses & abuses and instead compromised with such situations and conditions and surrendered.

PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE: This is why I keep saying sadly: “The people themselves are fully responsible for the bad situation and condition and only they can pull themselves out.” Instead of losing heart, compromising and surrendering, they must understand their worth and power. They must never waste their precious votes on any wrong, helpless and powerless leaders and parties and stop trusting, fearing and following them.

Understand this that they can only hurt and harm people and the country and are in no position to help, support or serve humanity in reality. Just take a look around to understand that it is only the people and the country which are suffering. It is always only the people’s pocket which is being emptied and their hard earned money wasted by most of the leaders and parties on their vested interests and agendas.

Tell me how many leaders are facing the messy situation and condition that the people are facing? May be only few or none? As long as fool voters are there, they will cunningly keep winning and playing with the people. This is the reality we must understand to really live happily, peacefully and successfully.

SOLUTION: Never lose heart. Yes, never. There is always hope and ways of solution. The solution is to seriously search for, support and promote only TRUE LEADERS, who dare stand up and fight for the rights of the people honestly, courageously and boldly. Yes, only they can cut the chains of “Uses & Abuses”. Only they can truly understand, respect and get implemented the Canadian Charter of Rights & Freedom. Only they can protect the people from eunuchs, poodles and robots. Whether it is election time or not, people must always think and act in the right direction. Only they can fight for their freedom and rights.

As regards terrorists, criminals and corrupt ones, whether they are Christians, Muslims and Jews or of any caste, creed and religion, we must all unite and stand up against them. They deserve no mercy at all. We must understand this that terrorists are simply terrorists and respect neither humanity nor religion.

Terrorists are the real enemies of mankind and use the name of God, good and humanity to hide their true faces, heinous crimes and evil nature and to put the blame on religions and the followers. This way they kill two birds with one stone and fool the people, lawmakers, policymakers and rulers. As a result, they escape and roam scot-free while the good, innocent and helpless people are targeted, victimized and suffer. This keeps happening.

Because of the wrong policies, thinking, approach and actions, while the people suffer, the terrorists remain safe and keep becoming stronger, powerful and extremely dangerous. There is an urgent need to find and expose the black sheep POLICYMAKERS and leaders who are cunning and deliberately making and taking wrong policies and decisions to harm the people and country. If not checked and stopped timely, they can cause considerable damage to both the people and country.

PROTECT CANADA: Canada is a wonderful and beautiful country and the people very loving, caring, helpful and supportive. Terrorists, bad policymakers and leaders are all a potential danger for both. So they must be taken seriously, exposed fully and dealt with accordingly. Otherwise we will have to pay a heavy price and face terrible times. The choice is ours. Fight with terrorists, crooks and bad people bravely or live in darkness, confusion, fear and terror created by propagandas and wrong policies. So always take any decision, election or selection seriously in order to make sure that only true leaders and good people are voted, elected, supported and promoted.

Put a NO ENTRY sticker on your mouth for LOLLYPOPS and a NO ROOM sign for BAD LEADERS and WRONG POLICYMAKERS. People have already been fooled enough and are fed up. Now no more please. And this can only be ensured by the people themselves. Let’s unite, stand up, speak, struggle and fight for the rights of the people and stability, integrity, prosperity and beauty of the country---CANADA.

PAKISTAN: Being a Canadian of Pakistani Origin, I wish the same for Pakistan and its people as well. Pakistan and Pakistanis are since long victims of worst kind of terrorism and conspiracies. They are leading the world in the war against terrorism and therefore need full attention, help and support of the world. It is never easy to engage in such fights alone. Thousands of soldiers, policemen and innocent people including elderlies, women, children and infants have been mercilessly and brutally killed by the terrorist beasts. They were blown into pieces by fanatic and lunatic suicide bombers, who are using the name of Islam and tarnishing image of this religion the getting the Muslims blamed. It’s all their trick and treachery, which we must understand carefully and act sensibly to emerge victorious against terrorists and all forms of terrorism and corruption anywhere and in any part of the world.

PAIN & FEAR ARE BLESSINGS OF GOD,

UNDERSTAND THEM PROPERLY

TORONTO: Fear and pain play very important role in our lives. They can either make or break us. It depends upon their type and nature. Yes, type and nature. One leads towards darkness and destruction and the other towards God and good. So never take fear and pain lightly. Understand their type and nature to either benefit from them or to face them courageously and confidently. One gives us courage and confidence and the other shatters them.

Our conscience is our best friend and guide in this regard. It makes us realize our lies, mistakes, misunderstandings, sins, wrongs and guilt. This realization makes us restless, becomes painful and makes us fearful. It is this fear which makes us good and law-abiding.

It is this fear which removes all destructive fears and gives us the strength to have full trust and confidence in ourselves, God and good. This gives us the understanding of the purpose of our creation and being honoured with the blessing of being human being.

It is this fear and pain which reforms us and makes us good human beings, turns even the worst sinners into saints and teaches us to honestly love, care, respect, help and support. It softens and melts the hardest hearts and makes them paradise and garden of love. It gives peace to the even the most disturbed minds and make them clean and clean. It purifies the soul by removing the burden on the mind, body and soul.

So always wish for, desire and love such sweet pain and guiding fear and then see wonders happening and witness the dramatic changes in our lives. It is this pain and fear which makes us cry non-stop in our true worship of God. Yes, it is this non-stop crying as a result of pain of guilt and fear of being punished for displeasing God and making Him unhappy and angry which God loves the most and accepts the prayers and the true worship.

SOLUTION: Instead of fearing the devil, evil and enemies of mankind have trust and confidence in The Almighty God. It is only He who can protect and save us from destructive fears, death and destruction. It is only He, the Creator of mankind and the universe, who can support us and help us defeat even the most powerful enemies or superpowers on earth or anywhere in the universe.

So Muslims, Christians, Jews and all believers of The God and good instead of insanely fighting and killing each other, live and work together and love and respect each other. This is the only solution of most of our big and small problems, which have been created by us and not God. By hating, fighting and killing each other, we are only making the terrorists, criminals and enemies of mankind stronger and extremely powerful.

Recognize the real enemies who, for their vested interests and to control the world, wealth, routes and resources, are making us hate, fight and kill each other. It is the mostly the powerful countries, rulers, policymakers, leaders, intelligence agencies and the organs under their influences and grips including media and corporate business who are behind all this.

It is because of them massive death and destruction have been caused in the world and millions of helpless and innocent people have been mercilessly massacred, killed, maimed, harmed and displaced all over the world. Yes, it is because of them the lives of people have been made miserable and the world unsafe and turned into hell.

THE ENEMIES: They first hire mercenaries and then after use declare them criminals and terrorists and go after them. Not only this, they train terrorists and enemies to achieve their goals through terrorism and keep shedding crocodile tears and fooling the people by asking them to fight against terrorism. If they have the courage to deny then deny this. The whole world is aware.

Instead of fearing them and getting damn scared we need to think of defeating all the destructive forces involved in terrorism and crimes against humanity. This can only be done with the help and support of God and good leaders and people.

History and the original holy books tell us how God had destroyed extremely powerful ones who were crazily involved in death and destruction and proving dangerous for the people and the world.

They may be extremely powerful and dangerous but for God these creeps and crooks are nothing. See how God sent small birds to crush and destroy them in the past. So there is nothing to be afraid of or to fear. Just have trust and confidence in God and leave the rest to Him.

The following divine words of God in the holy book Quran gives us---All believers including Christians, Muslins and Jews---encouragement, confidence and courage to face and fight all evils, cruel people, terrorists and criminals:

Surah # 105 Al-Fil (Verses 1-5): Hast thou not seen how thy Lord dealt with the owners of the Elephant? (1) Did He not bring their stratagem to naught, (2) And send against them swarms of flying creatures, (3) Which pelted them with stones of baked clay, (4) And made them like green crops devoured (by cattle)? (5). Translation—Pickthal.

Surah # 48 Al-Fath (Verses 1-4): Lo! We have given thee (O Muhammad) a signal victory, (1) That Allah may forgive thee of thy sin that which is past and that which is to come, and may perfect His favour unto thee, and may guide thee on a right path, (2) And that Allah may help thee with strong help - (3) He it is Who sent down peace of reassurance into the hearts of the believers that they might add faith unto their faith. Allah's are the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is ever Knower, Wise - (4). Translation---Pickthal.

Surah # 110 An-Nasr (Verses 1-3): When Allah's succour and the triumph cometh (1) And thou seest mankind entering the religion of Allah in troops, (2) Then hymn the praises of thy Lord, and seek forgiveness of Him. Lo! He is ever ready to show mercy. (3)

God is ALWAYS there to guide, help and support us. It is we who are misguided, have become shaky and lost trust and confidence in God. We are responsible for our sufferings, hardships and destruction and CANNOT blame God or good people at all. This is why the enemies, terrorists, criminals and all evils are becoming extremely powerful, influential and destructive. The destructive fear has overcome us, made us weak and easy target.

When is the Muslim, Christian and Jew world going to understand this? Till how long will we keep playing in the hands of cunning, cruel, powerful leaders, policymakers, agencies and people? For how long will we allow our destruction? We have the answers but don’t pay attention or take them seriously. Let’s all live and work together for love, respect, peace, stability, success and true happiness.

Just understand and remember, even the most powerful, cunning and cruel ones are no match for God. Just His `Be It’ words are enough to turn them into trash. If you want to feel the pain and fear then enjoy the beneficial ones.

PRACTICALLY SUPPORT THE CONCEPT:

`LIVE & WORK TOGETHER’

TORONTO: In order to practically support and promote the concepts of “Live & Work Together” and “Help, Support, Promote, Love & Respect Each Other”, members of the Canadian Seniors Club held its first meeting at the new location at 18 Thorncliffe Park Drive on January 31, 2015.

Ahmed Hussein, Executive Director of Thorncliffe Neighbourhood Office, took special interest in arranging the new location for the Canadian Seniors Club and assured his full support for provision of more facilities for the seniors and members.

Abdul Razzaq Chishti, senior most member of the CSC, and Naseem Hussain (Popularly known as Guard Sahab), floated the idea and made efforts for the new location including meeting with Ahmed Hussein. It was the result of team effort.

The first CSC meeting started with recitation of verses of the holy Quran by Shakeel Ahmed, Vice President of CSC. Tariq Rehman, President of the CSC, in his address thanked the TNO’s Executive Director Ahmed Hussein for his interest in CSC, support and the facilities provided and promised. He also thanked the CSC members for helping form and run the club successfully.

It was unanimously decided that members of all communities, except those actively or in any way involved in or promoting dirty politics or solely vested interests of party politics or not working in the interest of all people and common cause, were welcome to join the Canadian Seniors Club. Presently, the members belong to the South Asian community, mostly Pakistani community and some Indian community members.

It was hoped that each member would do his best to present and build a good image of the community and come out with new ideas and proposals which could prove constructive, beneficial, inspirational and motivational for all. It was decided to recognize and promote extraordinary talents, gems, geniuses and distinguished members of the community for their achievements and tremendous contributions and for making the people and country proud.

Those present at the CSC meeting were Tariq Rehman, Abdul Razzaq Chishti, Naseem Hussain, Syed Shakeel Ahmad, Azhar Bokhari, Afzal Khan Nayyar, Mohammad Masood Alam (Facilitator), and Javed Zaheer. Fateha (Prayer) was offered by members for late Razaul Jabbar, a reputed community leader, who passed away on January 29, 2011.

TRIBUTE: Afzal Khan Nayyar, General Secretary and Program Coordinator of the Canadian Seniors Club, who is also General Secretary of PICAS, the organization of late Razaul Jabbar and worked closely with him, paid rich tributes to the personality and read out Javed Zaheer’s article titled “Razaul Jabbar Remembered”(Read article at www.javedzaheernews.blogspot.ca).

Afzal Khan said: “Razaul Jabbar was a distinguished, recognized and respectable personality of the South Asian community and India’s Hyderabad community. HURDLES: Some hurdles are being faced in attracting new members, who are unhappy with TNO performances and say TNO must first pay attention to those living in the locality including for facilities and employment. They allege that presently most of the staffers and employees do not live in the area and as a result lack interest, do not understand the people, their issues and problems. Mostly favourites of some groups and parties are being promoted and others neglected. This is making people unhappy and disappointed with TNO.

They keep asking as to why the people of this locality not being considered for jobs or services in TNO? Are they not competent, qualified or capable? Why the step-motherly treatment when they can communicate and serve in similar or much better way?

They said that the new Executive Director, Ahmed Hussein, must try to understand and redress the grievances of the community members. Also, TNO must protect its image and reputation by not playing in the hands of those with vested interests, who are proving harmful for both the TNO and people.

RAZAUL JABBAR REMEMBERED

RAZAUL JABBAR: This name needs no introduction. Razaul Jabbar, M.Com., LL.B., C.A., was a distinguished, recognized and respectable personality of the South Asian community and India’s Hyderabad community. His literary contributions and achievements are remarkable. He contested for councillor seat in Ward 26 of Toronto.

Razaul Jabbar, who passed away on January 29, 2011, had a brilliant literary background. He was author of seven books of selected stories in South Asian languages and was recipient of literary awards. His books are: 1. Hadees-e-Deccan 2. Nau Heerey (1958) 3. Roshni Ki Kiran (1970) 4. Nai Dharkan (1975) 5. Chand Ki Kashti Ka Akela Musafir (1985) 6. Sunkh Uthaney Ka Hosla (1991) and 7. Saharon Ke Mausam (2006).

His social contributions were as follows: Moderator, Speaker and Integrated Member of the Christian-Muslim Forum of Canada. Launched project, “Feelings on Wheels”, formed to raise awareness of ability and empowerment of individuals with special needs. Mayor Art Eggleton inaugurated the project.

· He was president of Seniors Association, which provides opportunities to share and socialize for healthy living. Organized Mushairas (Literary gatherings) and community functions. Participated in various international conferences within and outside Canada.

Razaul Jabbar was born on March 10, 1937, in Hyderabad Deccan, India. When he was about one year old, he became a victim of Infantile Paralysis. His legs and hands were completely paralyzed. His neck and back too were partly affected. Later, some strength returned to hands but legs remained paralyzed.

Due to lack of facilities 70 years back, Jabbar faced very tough time. There was no rehabilitation, no wheelchairs and the school and office buildings were not accessible. He could only move by sitting on the floor and dragging his body with the help of his hands. As a result, his lower body’s skin was affected with eczema and bruises.

During winter, it became more difficult. Dragging on the cold floor resulted in attacks of cold and fever. His ears were affected and there was continuous discharge from them.

Razaul Jabbar’s disability became a great challenge for him. People used to taunt, harass and discourage him. The family and society considered him a burden. The barriers of attitude gave hard times. He, however, faced the time and situation very bravely. He started going to school from Class 6th. Before that he used to study at home. He used to read stories about children and this interest developed into an urge to write short stories.

BOOKS PUBLISHED: In 1954, he remained in the hospital for 14 months due to major surgery---from toe to chest. Even in this condition, he used to read books. In the hospital, he wrote three stories, which were selected and published in a reputed weekly Urdu journal `Rahbar’, published from Bombay.

In 1960, when Razaul Jabbar was a student of M.Com, he was editor of Osmania Journal, published by Osmania University, Hyderabad Deccan. He did both B.Com and M.Com from Osmania University.

LOVE MARRIAGE: Razaul Jabbar married in 1967. His wife, Zarina Rangwala, belonged to the Bohri community. She was his fan and this ended in a dramatic love marriage. Because of his disability, the Bohri community gave him a very tough time and opposed him tooth and nail. Zarina is a highly educated lady and has MA and B.Ed degrees.

Before migrating to Canada, Razaul Jabbar was Accounts Officer in a shipping firm. He served the firm for ten years. At the same time, he used to teach part time in Burhani College of Commerce as a part-time professor. He served on this position for seven years.

Jabbar attended an international conference for disabled in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He liked the place very much and decided to settle in Canada. He filed his immigration papers in New York, USA, and returned to India. He migrated to Canada in 1980.

Razaul Jabbar always said: “There is a code of conduct for Muslims in the Holy Quran and they should follow it strictly.” He has left behind two children---a son and a daughter---and five grandchildren. Jabbar’s wife Zarina worked as Assistant Manager for 14 years (1982-1986). She quit the job due to kidney failure. She is still under treatment.

Despite disability and tough challenges, Razaul Jabbar managed to not only make a respectable place for himself in the society and system but helped his children as well in getting good education and jobs. He retired in 2002 and kept himself busy in social, cultural and literary activities. He passed away quietly but is still remembered by thousands of his fans and near and dear ones.

TORONTO: For all those making fun of and insulting Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in various ways including cartoons, I can only pray to God to give them proper awareness, understanding and guidance and appeal to Muslims and all those who believe and do good works, and exhort one another to truth and exhort one another to endurance to show extreme tolerance and patience and keep supporting, promoting, teaching and preaching peace, love and respect for each other.

Don’t let the devil weaken you with anger, as a result of provocations, destructive propagandas, policies and actions, and turn you into fire and flame and burn and harm you. This is the time for all sensible, loving, caring and like-minded people to remain fully alert, unite and become a shield for each other to serve and protect humanity in reality. This should be our aim, objective and character as a good human being. Let them do whatever they like or are doing, we must not forget our job, duties and responsibilities. With our good words and deeds we can both reform and defeat them. Such is the power and greatness of practical goodness

We must do, teach and preach all the good things we are taught only through which we can win trust, confidence, love, respect and hearts of all people. Not only win but we have to make a permanent place in the hearts and minds of the people. Through proper understanding, actions, love and respect we can touch the soul and heal the wounds inflicted by hatred.

Quran and all the original holy books including Bible and Torah containing rules, regulations, commands and examples are not only a constitution for us but act as a mirror for us to know our reality. They show us the real face and tell us as to whether we doing right or wrong and what we should do.

All the original holy books and divine messages through all means and ways tell us to love and respect. They tell us to help, support and promote all innocent and helpless people and protect them from the devil and his followers including the mafias, corrupt and crook rulers, policymakers, leaders and people.

Not only Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Muslims like, love and respect very much all the prophets including Moses, Jesus and David. It is not their choice but they are commanded by God to love them because He likes, loves and respect them.

So Muslims can die but dare not insult or utter a word against any of God’s lovers including prophets, saints and good human beings. If someone does this then he commits a grave mistake and sin and earns the anger of God and His followers. Those committed to follow the devil will never understand this and will continue to harass and harm people and remain a potential danger for humanity.

All the original holy books including Quran not only condemn terrorism and terrorists in the strongest possible words but tell to fight against them because they are the enemies of God and humanity. Only terrorists, criminals and evil people dare say that the original holy books and personalities are promoting and supporting crimes and terrorism. Not a soul can prove this.

All saner elements of the world must stand up, get united and raise strong voice against all those teaching, preaching, supporting and promoting terrorism in any form---whether they are fanatics, extremists, rulers, policymakers, powerful and influential people or anyone. Nobody should be spared as no one is above the law. They must all respect the law and people. They cannot be allowed to play with the law and people. If they don’t then the hunt for the devils and beasts would begin. The beasts cannot and should not be allowed to target and tear the people.

I can only offer prayers for all those who died or are dying for the people and right cause and not for those who are deliberately and committedly creating and spreading hatred, causing deaths and destruction and supporting, promoting and indulging in terrorism in any way. No Sir, no way. I will not say: “God bless them” instead I will say: “God rope them and roast them in hell. They insulted You by insulting, harassing and harming Your lovers and good people.”

A LIVING LEGEND'S GREAT CONTRIBUTION:
CANADA'S NATIONAL ANTHEM IN URDU

TORONTO: A Canadian of Pakistani Origin has made a great contribution by gifting to Canada and the people the Canadian national anthem in Urdu language. This feat has not been achieved by any ordinary person but a legend known as Sohail Rana, one of the best music directors the world has produced.

In order to pay tribute and respect to Sohail Rana, the legendary figure, heart throb and an ideal of billions of music lovers in all parts of the world, for his tremendous contributions, achievements and making the Pakistani community and both the people and mothers---countries of Pakistan and Canada--- really proud, the famous couple Shahid Hashmi, Chairman, Canpak Chamber of Commerce, and Seema Hashmi organized an evening in his honour at their residence: 236 Findhorn Crescent, Vaughan, Ontario, on Friday, January 9, 2015.

It was a special gathering of distinguished personalities, families and media---Over sixty guests. The chief guests were Asghar Ali Golo, Consul General of Pakistan in Toronto, and Rick Milne, Mayor of New Tecumseh. The distinguished speakers were Dr Taqi Abedi and Syed Iftikhar Haider. These visionary figures threw light on the personality, great achievements and tremendous contributions of the legendary personality and termed it all as a treasure. They said that the people must fully benefit from his vision, efforts and precious works.

Asghar Ali Golo, Consul General, and Rick Milne, Mayor of New Tecumseh and an old family friend of Shahid Hashmi, also spoke on the occasion as chief guests and paid tribute to Sohail Rana. Shahid Hashmi presented the welcome address and vote of thanks. After the speeches, cake cutting ceremony took place.

Sidra Hashmi, the youngest daughter of Shahid Hashmi, gave a piano presentation on the occasion. Sohail Rana was impressed and praised the presentation. He said: “She is very talented.”

Praising Shahid Hashmi’s friendship, sincere efforts and contribution, he said: “have proved your worth and your place is in my heart.” As usual the great hospitality of Shahid Hashmi and his family was worth seeing and mentioning. The guests fully enjoyed the literary presentation and delicious food and made the evening memorable.

The guests included Salma Zahid, Darakshan Siddiqui, Bashir Khan, Roshan Khayal, Nazimuddin Nazim, Nazimuddin Maqbool, Syed Hashim Reza Taqvi, Hameeduddin Ahmed, Masood Haq, Tahir Hussain, Hashim, Dr Bajwa, Pervez Salahuddin, Nadeem of Pakistan Times and Syed Muhammad Iqbal (President of PSF)

Sohail Rana in his marathon address of over an hour highly impressed and mesmerized the audience with pearls of wisdom. There was pin drop silence in the hall. Such was the attention and focus of people.

The legendary Sohail Rana opened his mind and heart in his address to touch the souls of the audience. The facts he presented about himself, his struggle and achievements are not known by most people who simply think that he a music director and a legend. The fact is he is much more than that and has reached the stage where introduction, name, fame and recognition do not matter to him anymore. He has reached the peak and become an ideal and a lighthouse for millions. He is doing his job and his struggle has not ended. He has dreams and the will and vision to turn them into reality.

Sohail Rana says his parents, particularly mother, played an important role in his becoming a good human being, which guided and helped him to become a legend. He thanks God for showering His blessings in the shape of such nice parents, teachers, friends, colleagues and all those who by any ways helped, supported, inspired, motivated and benefited him.

Not only a music composer and director, Sohail Rana is a spiritual person as well. For hours he can speak on God, good and spirituality and keep the audience mesmerized. This spirituality touch is found immensely in his musical work as well.

With such pure qualities and intentions, he turned his attention on children to touch their minds, hearts and souls to make them good human beings, persons and citizen. This focus proved extremely successful and his efforts produced remarkable results. Some of his students have become greats including Adnan Sami, renowned singer and one of the world’s best piano players.

Sohail Rana’s current pursuits and projects are as follows (See his website: http://www.sohailrana.com/ ) After emigrating to Canada Sohail Rana established a music academy under his name, teaching and grooming South Asians and foreigners our Eastern music (Vocal, Instrumental, Light, Folk and Classical)..

2) Composed Raag Mala: Highlighting the evolution of Sur, Taal, Lai, Thaats featuring important Raagas and Raagnis.

3) Composed South Asian Anthem and performed in May'2006.

4) Composed and produced Pak-Canada friendship song performed in 1997 at a very special Pakistani exhibition in Toronto, Canada, celebrating 50 years of Pakistan.

5) Composed about 50 Ghazals that are now ready to be recorded.

6) Also composed about 15 Qawwalis (Sufiana Kalaam) ready to be recorded.

7) Anarkali Ballet: Almost nearing completion to be performed with a symphony orchestra and a Ballet company in Canada.

8) Multi-media Company: Mr. Rana is busy in setting up a multi-media / recording company to also work in liaison with other recording companies of North America and U.K.

It is said that “Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything”. Not everyone has the skills to produce such feats. They may become a star at the most but it needs the hunger and craze for music, great efforts, patience and attention, command and mastery to use the skills brilliantly in order to become a legend and only few legends are born in the world and remembered for centuries.

It is also said that music has a beautiful way of entering the mind, touching the soul and opening the heart to make room for hope, love, care and all good things. It acts as a spiritual healer and warmer of loving hearts. Music has the qualities to give new life and strength to the soul and a little bit of soul is worth more than gold.

What is more important for any great or legend is not only to enter the mind, touch the soul and open the heart but the most important fact is to make a place in the heart to live there and earn true trust and confidence and love and respect of the people.

If the great or legend shows attitude and becomes arrogant then he or she can never make a place in the heart of people and earn true love and respect. People will then only recognize and respect his skills, works and contributions but will never be impressed by his personality. Here character plays a charismatic role. Those trying to put people under the thumb are cut to size. To every action there is equal and opposite reaction. It is the law of nature.

Canada is fortunate to have Sohail Rana ---a legend of the highest order. The government and people must benefit from the qualities, services and works of this true legendary figure.
